Gujarat Gas Limited reported a jump around 77% in the profit for the first quarter of the year 2019 ended In March. The net profit of this quarter is INR 116.54 Cr and the hike of INR 1.69 per share This is higher than the previous quarter and getting more earning than previous fiscal.
The sales jumped to INR 1,963.26 crore from INR 1,777.82 crore in the first quarter (January to March) in the year 2018. The company has added 63 new CNG stations in the year 2018-19 which is the highest ever in a year. Gujarat Gas Ltd has added around 1 lac domestic cooking gas connection during 2018-19.
The company said, As the National Green Tribunal has put a ban on the use of coal-based gasifiers in Morbi, Gujarat, the company sales volumes have increased from the April 2019, and currently flowing at the range of ~4.50 million standard cubic meter/day.
The company supplies gas to around 344 CNG retail outlets, 13,55,000 domestic & 3540 plus industrial users. At 03:53 PM, 06 May 2019, the share price was quoting at INR 159.90 up INR 2.10 or 1.33%.
