Indian Hume Pipe Company registered 6% Growth on Intraday Monday as this company won the giant order worth around INR 256 crore. Indian Hume Pipe has received a project of INR 256.19 Cr from the Tamil Nadu Water Supply & Drainage Board, Coimbatore for delivering combined water supply scheme.

This scheme is for Padaveedu Town Panchayat, Alampalayam Town Panchayat including 669 rural habitations in Pallipalayam & Tiruchengode unions in the Namakkal District & Sankari Town Panchayat in Salen with the Cauvery (river) as a source.

The project is to be finished within 2 years including the test run & maintenance period of 60 months. It means the Tamil Nadu government is putting trust on this pipe manufacturing company.
